2nd March 2008 :: Concert -- Sandbach Town Hall

This was a new venture for this time of year .Silk Brass were invited to join us in a concert to an invited audience of 150 people .An ideal opportunity for both bands to run their respective test pieces as part of their half concert prior to the area finals in Blackpool.Silk gave a good solid performance of James Cook Circumnavigator and United Co-op were really pleased with their performance of Festival Music .(Were we peaking at the right time ?)we will find out next week.
This was an excellent concert with playing of the highest standard from both bands and not just on the playing of the test pieces .An idea from Mr Jef Sparkes that is already planned to be repeated in 2009.
