9th November 2007 :: Remembrance Parade Must check how many years the band have been doing the Remembrance Parade at Holmes Chapel, a good few is my guess. It is always a great honour to be present at such an event and is very humbling. The turn out from the public seems to get more each year, a sign that war is still raging somewhere! Until next year …………. [Full Story] |

 | 14th July 2007 :: Concert - Weston Fete Another great event we keep getting invited back to. I like this event as it reminds me of when brass bands played in our parks on summer afternoons on a regular basis. There is always a good turn out from the villagers and the band always gets a warm welcome. I think the weather has only been unkind once. Not bad for English summer time! I’m sure we will be back again next year. [Full Story] |

 | 1st June 2007 :: Contest - Whit Friday Marches This is a great favourite with the band. The coach leaves Crewe mid afternoon heading for Tameside, the idea being to play in as many villages as possible. The band managed to play at just seven villages due to the amount of bands entering this year. We arrived back at Crewe at 1.15am. We got 10th position over all which is excellent considering bands such as Black Dyke, Fodens & Brighouse were all competing along side us. [Full Story] |
